LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is planning a major Tech Park City project on Ferozepur Road, aimed at creating a dedicated technology and commercial hub near Arfa Karim Tower.
The proposed development will cover approximately 119 kanals, with around 50 kanals allocated for commercial activities. The remaining land is planned for roads, parks, parking and other public facilities to support the area’s future development.
According to the reported plan, LDA intends to offer commercial plots through auctions, providing opportunities for technology companies, businesses and commercial investors. Proposed building regulations could allow structures ranging from ground-plus-five to ground-plus-six floors, with maximum heights of approximately 72 and 90 feet respectively.
The first commercial plot auction is expected to take place on October 14, 2026, with additional plots planned for auction during 2027 and 2028. LDA estimates that commercial plot sales could generate approximately PKR 13.566 billion, while leasing opportunities for a petrol station and food outlet could generate an additional estimated PKR 45 million.
The project’s location along Ferozepur Road and proximity to Lahore’s established technology infrastructure could strengthen its commercial significance. However, prospective investors should review official LDA auction documents, development regulations and plot conditions before making any investment decision.
