During a Sunday virtual Zoom discussion with the respected Executive Director of the Higher Education Commission, Dr. Shaista Sohail, he also expressed his acceptance and preference for creating direct ties between HEC and FCCI. He also stated his hopes for the continuation of these relations between the two institutions, which, according to him, would usher in a new era of robotics, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, etc.

He then described Faisalabad as a city that generates around 52 percent of Pakistan’s total textile exports. “It also supplied 80% of the home demand for garments at the national level,” he said. In addition, he expressed concern that the industrial sector was still employing antiquated technologies without exploiting the most recent innovations. According to his vision, President FCCI advised that university graduates and eminent academics devote a minimum of six months to comprehending the practical ramifications of their respective professions and to use their abilities and knowledge to develop globally accepted solutions.
