Low-Cost Housing Initiative to Be Extended Nationwide
Imran Khan, the prime minister of Pakistan, announced that the low-cost housing programme would be extended to all tehsils of the nation by the end of 2021 while speaking at the foundation-laying ceremony for an affordable housing project being built as part of the Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP) in the Sargodha district, according to news sources.

PM Khan praised Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar for effectively leading this sizable affordable housing project and emphasized the crucial role banks play in granting loans to individuals.
Additionally, he promised that encouraging the housing industry will spur economic activity and assist people in creating a home for themselves.
In his remarks to the audience, Chief Minister Buzdar also announced that the project would be expanded to include 146 tehsils and that the monthly installment amount would be maintained at PKR 10,000 to make the scheme more accessible.

In addition, the Punjab Cabinet granted PKR 3 billion for the purpose, thus the provincial administration has also developed a PKR 0.3 million subsidy for the residents of the province.
