Low-Cost Housing Scheme to be Established in Orangi, Karachi

Wednesday, the administrator of Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, reportedly announced the establishment of a low-cost housing initiative in Orangi Town (February 9).

According to the facts, the administrator has instructed the Organi Town project director to conduct a land survey for the housing plan. He continued by stating that the aforementioned housing project was created as part of the government’s initiative to provide affordable homes for everyone.

In addition, the administrator indicated that, in light of inflation, a public-private partnership will be formed to initiate a low-cost housing initiative. He continued by stating that other regions of the city would also be examined to identify possible sites for similar housing constructions.
