Mahmood Orders Exclusion of Encroachments Along Rivers
Chief Minister Mahmood Khan of Peshawar has ordered the removal of encroachments along rivers and canals in various regions of the Peshawar division within one month.

According to the statement, after receiving complaints from lawmakers about encroachments along rivers and waterways in certain areas, the chief minister ordered the Peshawar commissioner and the public health engineering department to conduct an operation against all such encroachments and remove them within one month.
The meeting was informed that a total of 62 public and development issues pertaining to the Peshawar division had been identified at the previous meeting, of which 25 had been addressed, 30 were being worked on according to the given timeline, and the resolution of the remaining seven issues had been delayed for technical reasons.

In addition, he instructed the deputy commissioner of Nowshehra to convene a conference to discuss land acquisition concerns for development projects in the district and to settle all such issues as quickly as possible.
Mr. Khan also ordered the Peshawar and Charsadda commissioners to remove the encroachments from Shabqadar Bazaar within fifteen days.
