CDA to Resume Development Work in Sectors E-12, I-12
Islamabad: According to the most recent reports, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) decided on December 27 to initiate construction in sectors E12 and I12. In the next week, a request for proposals will be issued for the development work, and the project will commence in the final week of January 2021.

The decision was decided after a meeting of the CDA’s review board during which officials from various authorities discussed the issue of delayed development projects. The Commission learned that the CDA’s engineering and design department has finished the design and estimating of the last two E12 subsectors, E12 / 1 and E12 / 4. The bids for the aforementioned projects will close within one week. The 10th will also mark the beginning of bidding for I12 development work, with building beginning in the first week of February.

The CDA has agreed to hand up the plots to the affected residents of Sector E12. The first voting ceremony took place at 3:00 pm on December 29 at the historic One-window CDA offices in Islamabad. This decision was made in accordance with the directives of the Federal Cabinet on 2 November and the Commission’s suggestions that were tailored to the particular circumstances of individuals impacted.
