Malir District to Be Connected With M9: Wahab
According to news reports, Karachi’s city administrator, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, has announced the construction of an 8.8-kilometer road along the Malir River and a bridge across the canal. The project aims to connect the Malir District with the M9.

The project will minimize travel time between the Malir district, Malir Cantt, Karachi airport, and Shahrah-e-Faisal and is expected to be completed in two months.
This initiative is part of the province government’s effort to addressing the city’s water, sewage, sanitation, and transportation problems. In this regard, the city administrator indicated that a number of efforts were now ongoing that were anticipated to eventually result in a considerable makeover of the city, with some of these initiatives falling directly within the jurisdiction of the province’s premier.

The administration has also requested that the various government departments submit their plans for city improvement within thirty days.
According to reports, development work in many city locations, including Manora, is likely to be completed shortly; restaurants will be erected along Manora Road to provide residents with more recreational choices.
