Israeli authorities have issued urgent safety advisories after massive swarms of bees descended on multiple urban areas across the country.
Residents and business owners have been instructed to keep doors and windows closed, as videos on social media show dense clusters of bees gathering around buildings, vehicles, and storefronts.
The swarms have been reported in several locations, including areas around Tel Aviv, where locals described loud buzzing sounds and temporary closures of cafes and shops as a precautionary measure.
Emergency services have warned the public not to disturb or attempt to remove the bees. Instead, trained beekeepers and environmental teams have been deployed to safely relocate the swarms without harming them.
Experts suggest that recent temperature changes and favorable spring conditions may have accelerated hive reproduction, resulting in unusually large swarm movements.
As a precaution, some businesses have shut down temporarily, while schools and offices in affected areas have restricted outdoor activities until the situation is brought under control.
