Metro Bus from Peshawar to Islamabad Airport to Become Operational
According to published reports, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) of Islamabad announced that the Peshawar metro bus service to Islamabad International Airport will begin operating in January 2022.

According to the provided information, a traffic control room – a smart traffic management system – would be built to monitor traffic rule infractions and local transit overcrowding. The bus depot will also include parking spaces, a service area, a control center and offices, a resting room for drivers, an administration building, and a maintenance workshop.

It was determined that CDA would develop a separate PC-1 for the missing facilities, which will comprise command and control systems, security monitoring, vehicle location, bus schedules, and automated fare collecting, with the assistance of specialists.
In addition, a modest barrack for guards, a daycare center for the children of female employees, special ramps, rails, and separate rooms for the disabled will be supplied.
