Microsoft Edge Introduce Split Screen Feature Soon
ISLAMABAD, January 27, 2023- Microsoft Edge may soon have a split screen feature to enable users to compare tabs side by side.
Details indicate that this split-screen capability will enable users to compare tabs side-by-side. If you are a frequent Internet user, there may have been a time when you wanted to compare information from two tabs but had to flip between them repeatedly. Microsoft Edge is apparently testing a new feature that would allow users to split the screen and view multiple tabs simultaneously.
A Reddit user called Leopeva64-2 broke the news that the feature is now accessible in the Beta and Canary versions of Microsoft Edge. The experimental flag indicates that the feature is undergoing testing. When a user enables the functionality, a split-screen button appears just to the right of the address bar on their edge browser. This button divides the edge window into two different tabs, facilitating comparison and enhancing usability.

By default, Windows allows users of any browser to pull down a tab, duplicate it, and then compare information between two tabs. This nevertheless takes a considerable amount of time and can be confusing as it is difficult to align the two tabs in the correct proportion. With the new capability in place, Edge users will be able to perform the same actions with a single click. Microsoft has not yet declared a release date for the new feature, but we’ll let you know as soon as they do.
