More Undergraduate Scholarships to Be Announced by HEC
ISLAMABAD, January 27, 2023- The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has awarded undergraduate scholarships for excellent students from Balochistan and the former FATA to study at HEC-recognized universities and degree-granting institutes (DAIs).
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have a Balochistan/FATA Local/Domicile Certificate.
- The scholarship program requires 12 years of school with at least 60% in FA/F.Sc./I.COM/ICS/DAE or equivalent.
- Candidates must be 22 or younger by the closing date.
- Candidates must have academic qualifications by the closing date.
- HEC/Government scholarship recipients are ineligible.
- Result-awaiting students cannot apply.
How to Apply
- Candidates must apply on the HEC website (hard copies of applications and any other documents are not required at this stage).
- Candidates must deposit a non-refundable Rs. 500 application processing fee in Habib Bank Limited: Account Number 1742 7900 1334 01, Title of Account: Higher Education Commission, Branch Code: 1742.
- The candidate must upload the actual bank payment record/slip with the online application and keep it secure for the test center (no one will be allowed to sit in the test without producing the original bank deposit slip).
- Completed applications must be submitted online. Saved or incomplete applications will be rejected.
- HEC may postpone or cancel the scholarship procedure without explanation.
- The online application deadline is 13 February 2023.
