In addition, Air Indus has expressed interest in starting again its operations, while Q Aviation and Liberty Air have also submitted applications to start flight services in Pakistan.
The CAA views this overflow in applications as a positive development for the airline industry in Pakistan. It is predicted that the arrival of new airlines will expand air travel options, reinforce foreign exchange earnings, and create more jobs within the aviation industry.
Currently, Airblue, SereneAir, and AirSial are the three private airlines operating in Pakistan. The entry of these new competitors is predicted to improve service quality and offer more competitive pricing for passengers, further strengthening air travel growth in the country.
