Murad Ratifies Rs 17Bn for Snorkels, Fire Tenders, Refuse Trucks
Karachi: On Tuesday, Sindh’s local bodies received approval from Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to spend Rs 17.7 billion on eight snorkels, fire tenders, trash vehicles, tractors, and trolleys.

When presiding over a meeting here at CM House, he made this choice. Nasir Husain Shah, the local government minister, and other pertinent representatives were present during the meeting.
Eight snorkels would be purchased by the local government agency to put out fires in tall structures.
Eight snorkels, each 35 meters long, would be bought for the divisional headquarters, one each for the Nawabshah, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, and Larkana divisions, one for the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, and three for Karachi.

The majority of municipal committees, according to the local government minister, require fire tenders for combating fires.
For the procurement of 89 fire tenders to be given to the municipal committees in Sindh, Murad Ali Shah approved spending Rs 2.8 billion.
The local government department’s second proposal, which called for spending Rs 9.3 billion on 115 trash vehicles in the upcoming fiscal year, was approved by the chief minister.
