NAB to Probe Rs480m Scam in Revenue Dept
Peshawar: The National Accountability Bureau of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has ordered an inquiry into a Rs 480 million corruption scheme involving revenue department executives and officials.

According to a statement issued here, the NAB’s Peshawar office received a complaint alleging that provincial revenue department workers fraudulently transferred government property worth Rs 480 million to private beneficiaries in Mouza Tukra No 1.
In contravention of the law, they then made a fictitious entry in the official record, incurring a substantial loss to the public coffers.
Farooq Naser Awan, province chief of the NAB, stated that the agency was dedicated to establishing accountability across the board based on solid evidence and in accordance with the law.

He stated that eradicating corruption was a social and moral mission of the NAB in order to secure a flourishing future for future generations.
