Narowal-Zafarwal Road Reconstruction Begins
On December 24 (Friday), the Minister for Endowments, Pir Syed Saeed-ul-Hassan, commenced construction on the Narowal Zafarwal Road project after Prime Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar allocated 1.36 billion rupees.

The details indicate that the renovation of the 29-kilometer Narowal-Zafarwal Road has already begun and would be finished by 31 December 2022. Roads have been abandoned for decades.
Several feasibility studies for the renovation have been conducted, but no work has yet been performed. Supposedly, sewage from surrounding towns and villages kept the roadways in such a state. In response, sewer lines are installed along the street.

In December, Buzdar authorized the disbursement of Rs 1.13 billion from the Annual Development Program (ADP) for multiple road construction projects in the Naroir area. As part of this project, a 100-million-rupee, two-lane road will be constructed between the Lansiwar railroad crossing and the Narowal station.
