The National Assembly Secretariat has issued a public warning regarding fake internship advertisements and fraudulent online links being shared on social media platforms and job portals.
In an official statement, the Secretariat clarified that it has not announced any public internship applications through online platforms, third-party websites, or unofficial sources.
It stated that the Summer 2026 internship programme is being conducted through a formal and structured process. Under this system, selected universities are being contacted directly to nominate eligible students according to the approved criteria.
The Secretariat advised students to stay alert and avoid sharing personal information or submitting applications through unauthorized websites or suspicious links.
Officials also warned that legal action may be taken against individuals involved in spreading false or misleading information.
The statement added that any future announcements related to National Assembly programmes will only be issued through official and verified communication channels.
