NCOC Tightens Covid-19 Restrictions as Eid ul Azha Approaches
The National Command and Operation Centre has decided to increase limitations on Covid-19 as the national infection rate rises.

The forum issued a warning that the infection rate has grown above 4%, and as Eid ul Azha approaches, the likelihood of the Covid-19 Delta form spreading across the country increases.
According to the forum’s directives, all provinces must ensure the execution of preventive measures in high-risk areas. To accomplish this, the duty is allocated to specialised teams.
The government has made vaccination against coronavirus mandatory for all residents. Access to fitness centres, restaurants, motels, and movie theatres is restricted to exclusively vaccinated individuals.
The NCOC has ruled that beginning on August 1st, travellers would be required to present proof of vaccination before boarding an aircraft. Similarly, citizens travelling north would be forced to carry their immunisation certificates. In addition, the forum prohibited clients from reserving rooms without vaccination certificates.

In accordance with the NCOC-issued SOPs for Eid ul Azha, cattle markets are set up in open areas with sanitization and temperature checking stations at each entrance. The forum has also mandated that citizens wear face masks and maintain strict social distance, while vendors must be vaccinated.
