New Industrial Zones Established to Grow Commercial Activities in KP
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC) has established 14 industrial zones in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in an effort to promote commercial activities through the creation of employment opportunities and the acceleration of production, according to a news article.

The new industrial zones were established in Hattar, Risalpur, Rashakai, Mohmand, Jalozai, Chitral, Ghazi, Dera Ismail Khan (D.I. Khan), and Nowshera, according to the shared information. Work is also ongoing on four new industrial zones, according to the report.
Mohmand Economic Zone is expected to generate PKR 7.6 billion in investment and create 56,000 jobs, according to reports. Sharing additional information about the zones, the CEO stated that all economic zones have foolproof security, with no quality sacrifices.

In addition, Rashakai Economic Zone is 95% complete and is anticipated to generate 200,000 jobs for young people. It was revealed that both domestic and international investors are interested in investing in the Rashakai Special Zone.
