Nigerian Air Force Receives JF-17 Fighter Jets from Pakistan
The Pakistan Air Force’s Il-76 freight plane delivered a JF-17 fighter jet to the 21st Makurdi Air Base of the Nigerian Air Force.
A Pakistan Air Force Il-76 freight plane delivered a JF-17 fighter jet to the Nigerian Air Force’s 21st Makurdi Air Base. In the first quarter of 2021, Pakistan intends to deliver the first of three JF-17 fighter jets to Nigeria.
The jets were handed over by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, the company responsible for their construction and delivery. This is the most current development in the Pakistan Air Force’s modernization program participation in Nigeria.

After Lagos agreed to offer a financial guarantee for the purchase, the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Pakistani government approved the $ 184.3 million contract for the sale of three JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft.
