No Plan to Privatize Ayub Agriculture Research Institute
A proposal to privatize the Ayub Agriculture Research Institute (AARI) in Faisalabad is not currently under discussion, according to Punjab Agriculture Minister Hussain Jehanian Gardezi of Lahore.

Mr. Pervaiz revealed in his inquiry that at least 465 AARI employees were demonstrating against the proposed privatization of their institution in front of the Faisalabad District Council. He decried the transfer of profitable agencies to private seed corporations.
The house was informed that the AARI manages 25 distinct research institutes on over 8,438 acres across the province. Since 2018, it has generated 83 kinds of diverse crops and fruits.
