No Political Involvement in Confirming of Ring Road Project
Islamabad: Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan has clarified that there will be no political involvement in the completion of the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Ring Road project.

If the road layout is changed, this is purely for technical reasons, which can be explained by relevant experts, he said at a press conference.
The minister pointed out that the investigation report on the project needs to be reconsidered as some members of the investigation committee have attached different dissenting opinions.
Moreover, the existing motorway and he N5 (Große Fernstraße) could not support the axle loads of such heavy vehicles.

The minister also revealed that he or his family had nothing to do with the housing union and had been involved in politics for the past 50 years.
All major cities had bypasses or ring roads, but unfortunately, for unknown reasons, the Twin Cities project experienced excessive delays, making facilities unavailable to residents of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. .
