NOC-Issuance Process Simplified for Real Estate Builders
According to media sources, Punjab Minister for Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering Mian Mahmodur Rasheed disclosed that the procedure of issuing NOC has been streamlined to assist builders, developers, and the housing sector.

The Housing Department has announced e-governance-based departmental housing reforms that will benefit provincial businesses by centralising the completion of construction certificates, permits for private housing schemes, a simplified NOC process for land change, and approval of maps for commercial and residential projects, among other services.

As a result of the success of the single-window method for obtaining NOC, an online platform is established while the single-window system is digitised. Permits will be valid for a specified period of time as a result of the change. The specifications are as follows:
- 30 days for approval and completion of the building permit.
- 45 days for NOC or land use change
- 60 to 75 days for residential project permits
