Orders Issued for Early Completion of Rawal Dam Chowk Flyover
According to news reports, Amir Ali Ahmed, chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), has ordered that the Rawal Dam Chowk flyover be finished by October 31, 2021, rather than December 30, 2021, as previously promised.

In order to meet the deadline, the chairman ordered that the job be completed in day and night shifts. In order to evaluate the quality of the work on the Rawal Dam Chowk flyover, the chairman also conducted an unannounced visit to the construction site and inquired about the status of the project.
In accordance with the alternate traffic plan, cars travelling to and from Murree Road, Bara Kahu, Rawal Dam Chowk, and Expressway will use the Srinagar Highway (Zero Point) and Faizabad to Rawalpindi through the motorway.

The 9th Avenue, Murree Road, Srinagar Highway, and Kashmir Chowk will serve as alternate routes for those travelling on IJP Road towards Bara Kahu.
The Islamabad City Traffic Police Radio FM 92.4 will also inform residents of the traffic status in the city. Officials have requested that citizens avoid unnecessary commuting and abide with police officials.
