Pak-china Joint Exhibition Showcasing Cultural Art of Gandhara
At the Palace Museum in Beijing, the three-month-long joint China-Pakistan exhibition that provides a glimpse of ancient Gandhara art and culture is now nearing its conclusion.
The Palace Museum and the Department of Archaeology and Museums, National Heritage and Cultural Division, collaborated to organise the Gandhara Heritage along the Silk Road exhibition, which will run through this month’s 15th, with assistance from the Pakistan Embassy Beijing.

To further aid visitors in understanding the cultural heritage of the area, the show also featured an interactive component, art installations, and multimedia presentations.
The China-Pakistan joint exhibition, highlighting the artistic riches of Gandhara, has entered its final phase in a historic celebration of shared cultural heritage, enthralling visitors with a look into the splendour of an ancient civilization.

A triumphant collaboration between China and Pakistan produced the spectacular show, which attracted officials, art lovers, and historians from both countries and beyond. The exhibition, which is housed in a prominent museum in the middle of a big city, features a stunning assortment of artefacts from the ancient Gandhara region, which is located in modern-day Pakistan and Afghanistan. These ancient cultural artefacts demonstrate the region’s crucial function as a meeting place for various cultures and a crucial stop on the fabled Silk Road.
