Seven agreements have been inked between Pakistan and Kuwait to entice the State of Kuwait to make multibillion-dollar investments in a variety of areas.
These agreements cover a wide range of topics that are essential to Pakistan’s development, such as agriculture and food security, hydel power, water supplies (providing clean drinking water and assisting with mining operations), the creation of a mining fund to support the country’s mineral industry, technology zone development, and mangrove preservation.

Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled Al-Ahmad Al Sabah, the Kuwaiti Minister for Interior and First Deputy Prime Minister met with Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar to sign the agreements. General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, attended the conference as well.
Three Memoranda of Understanding were also inked in the areas of sustainable development, the environment, culture, and the arts.
The two presidents emphasized the value of the two nations’ long-standing brotherly connections and reiterated their intention to deepen such ties by turning them into a mutually beneficial economic alliance.
The leaders took prompt action to further enhance and deepen relations between Pakistan and Kuwait, expressed great pleasure with the direction of relations, and decided to stay in close communication.
The agreements with Kuwait, according to Pakistan’s prime minister, represent yet another significant development in the nation’s progress made possible by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) platform.
