Pakistan Attained a Safety Score of 75% for Aviation
According to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) report for 2020, Pakistan has met 75 percent of its aviation safety standards.

More than 75 percent of safety standards have been implemented by 46 nations, including Pakistan, according to the research. Additionally, the data found a 16% rise in aviation accidents in 2019 compared to the previous year.
A total of 2,9 percent of one million flights were involved in accidents. The report evaluates the safety standards based on air traffic regulations, crew training, aircraft license, accident testing, and navigation.
In July of this year, the PIA passed the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) for resuming flights to the United Kingdom, the United States, and Europe.
However, the national carrier wants the ICAO to conduct an audit of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
