Pakistan is Third Asian Country to Get Business & Human Rights
According to news sources, the federal government in Islamabad has authorised a “national action plan” (NAP) for Business and Human Rights to guarantee that “all firms comply with human rights.” After cabinet approval, Pakistan will become the third Asian nation and the first South Asian nation to adopt this proposal.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry stated in a news conference that Pakistan will be one of the first countries in Asia to implement such a framework in accordance with the United Nations Human Rights Commission if the proposal is approved.
Moreover, he stated that the implementation of this strategy will assist in eradicating all forms of workplace discrimination and ensuring labour, health, and safety requirements. The NAP was presented by the Ministry of Human Rights to enhance the country’s business and human rights climate.

The minister of communications and broadcasting also noted that the government has increased the number of nations covered by the e-visa application system from 50 to 191.
In addition, he claimed that the addition of new countries to the list will boost Pakistan’s tourism industry as well as foreign investment and commerce.
