The Minister claimed that Pakistan was among the first “Early Adopters of Human Capital Initiative” in his remarks. He emphasised that the nation’s early response to the COVID-19 situation was still powerful, robust, and widely acknowledged by the international community.
He emphasised the GoP’s climate measures, stating that these included the Clean and Green Pakistan Movement, the Recharge Pakistan programme, the Eco-system Restoration Initiatives, and the 10-Billion Tree Tsunami Project.

The Minister also emphasised the extensive anti-poverty programme Ehsaas, another significant social protection policy of the current administration to safeguard the most vulnerable populations from the pandemic’s economic shocks.
The Minister concluded by urging increased international cooperation in the fight against socioeconomic obstacles during the pandemic.
He claimed that more financial resources would make it possible to increase investment in human capital by freeing up budgetary space.
