Pakistan Loses RS. 250 trillion a Year as a Result of Oil Trafficking
The Pakistan Oil Marketing Association asserts that the biggest barrier to opening additional oil outlets is the sale of gasoline and diesel, and that the government loses Rs 250 billion annually due to the smuggling threat alone.

The Oil Marketing Association of Pakistan, a consortium of tiny oil marketing firms, issued the following statement in response to the government conducting a second audit of the downstream oil sector: The DG Audit at the General Oil Directorate has initiated a second audit.
A review of the letter given to 25 petroleum businesses informing them of their audit reveals a number of pertinent details: OMCs claim only two of Pakistan’s six refineries, while sixty percent of those with single market shares of less than 0.5 percent are among the 23 oil-marketing businesses.

For the report compiled by a senior agent of the Federal Investigative Agency, all information necessary for the forensic audit of the mentioned Inquiry Commission was voluntarily given (FIA).
