Pakistan Receives First Batch of Pfizer Vaccine
UNICEF’s Pakistan chapter stated on social media that Pakistan has received over 100,000 doses of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine as part of the World Health Organization’s COVAX initiative.

The government and federal ministry of health were praised by UNICEF for the effective implementation of the nationwide coronavirus vaccine programme, “good arrangements at vaccination facilities, and inclusion of all individuals above the age of 18.”
The country has now received a second shipment of vaccines via COVAX with the cargo from Pfizer.
The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has announced that walk-in immunisations are now available for residents and teachers who are at least 18 years old and older than 30.

NCOC Chief Asad Umar stated in a post on his official social media account that the NCOC decided to authorize vaccines for those aged 30 and over during a meeting.
He asked the more than 30 persons who had signed up for the immunization to go to any vaccination site and receive their shots.
