Pakistan to Export Upto 160,000 MT of Mangoes in the Year 2021
While speaking to the media during the ‘Mango Festival’ held in Islamabad, the Adviser to the Prime Minister for Commerce, Abdul Razak Dawood, stated that Pakistan is a potential producer of mangoes and that around 160,000 Metric Tons (MT) of mangoes will be shipped in 2021.

According to Razak, Pakistan can increase the value supplement of mango exports to increase the country’s exports on foreign markets.
He stated that value as a supplement, including “Mango Pulp,” would not only preserve the fruit content for up to 24 months, but also produce the ability to export excess quantities, as mango pulp is in high demand on the international market.

According to PM Adviser, Pakistani mangoes are about to hit the Chinese market in huge quantities this season.
He added that Pakistan may earn approximately $127.5 million this year from mango exports, compared to $140 million with 160,000 tonnes.
