Pakistan to Showcase National Image at China-ASEAN Expo
At the upcoming 18th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) to be held in Nanning from September 10 to 13, Pakistan will showcase its national image and organize 15 Pakistani companies to display carpet, marble, wood handicrafts, and other products of the country with 28 booths on an exhibition area of 81 square meters.

The expo is held by the economic development and trade departments of China and ten ASEAN nations, in partnership with the ASEAN Secretariat.
Pakistan is one of the countries situated along the Belt and Road and an ASEAN neighbor. Pakistan has participated in the CAEXPO for a number of years in order to strengthen its interchange and collaboration with China and other countries along the Belt and Road.
The CAEXPO will adopt a mixed model of “Physical + On-line CAEXPO” to host events commemorating the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the 2021 Forum on China-Pakistan Economic and Trade Cooperation in order to advance the steady growth of the China-Pakistan alliance.

In addition to serving the 10+1 countries, i.e. China and 10 ASEAN countries, the goal of the expo is to promote RCEP, the Belt and Road Initiative, and globalization.
The shopping event will debut at this year’s CAEXPO, and Viya, China’s leading e-commerce live-streamer, will be invited to visit the expo and present an influencer live-streaming event exclusive to CAEXPO to promote the top products of nations exhibiting their wares.
