PBA Presents Joint Call Centre of Banks for Low-Cost Housing
According to published reports, the Pakistan Banks’ Association (PBA) has launched ‘Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar – Helpline’, a joint call centre of banks to assist borrowers of State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) low-cost housing finance facility.

According to the information provided, the primary objective of the helpline is to provide a centralised resource for explaining and guiding borrowers on policies, documentation, and procedures, as well as providing information on low-cost housing loan facilities.
It was revealed that, depending on the preference and location of the borrower, agents will forward calls to call centre banks as leads. Additionally, the centre will be used to address and document borrower complaints.

In addition, the helpline is an excellent initiative that will benefit borrowers across the nation by resolving their questions and allowing them to access the facility quickly and easily.
This initiative would not have been possible without the collaborative efforts of Ufone and all bank members, including Meezan Bank, HBL, and Faisal Bank, said PBA Chairman Muhammad Aurangzeb.
