PC-1 of Housing Apartments at Alipur Farash Approved
Islamabad: The city management approved PC-1 for a project to build low-cost apartments in Alipur Farash, valued at Rs 15 billion.

The PC-1 was accepted in a meeting of the Development Working Party of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
Three years after construction begins, 4,000 units in three different categories will have been built. The CDA board had recently approved the project.

According to officials, 1,560 units will be built under the first category and sold at auction to cover the project’s costs.
According to them, 400 flats will be built under the second category for slum dwellers, namely those who will be relocated from the F-6 and F-7 slums.
To get rid of the audit concerns, CDA should have CDA-DWP update the PC-1 of the already built slip roads.
The group resolved that the matter would be discussed at the following meeting, when it would also be decided whether to adopt the updated PC-1 in light of the PAC minutes that had been received by then.
