PCB to Construct 5-Star Hotel Near Karachi’s National Stadium
Aqeel Karim Dhedhi (AKD), a business magnate, has informed Ramiz Raja, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, that he will invest in the construction of a five-star hotel near the National Stadium in Karachi.

Recently, PCB chairman Ramiz Raja met with prominent business leaders at the AKD’s headquarters in Karachi to discuss ways to strengthen the cricket economy in Pakistan. AKD assured Ramiz that he would independently finance the construction of a 200-room, five-star hotel near the National Stadium. He indicated that it would be easy for him to contribute $8 million to $9 million to the project.

The purpose of constructing a hotel near the stadium is to accommodate visiting international teams while enhancing PCB’s security measures. Ramiz concurred that this was a good idea and hoped to implement it soon.
