Peshawar Ring Road to Feature City’s Largest Amusement Park
According to news reports, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government plans to invest PKR 100 billion in beautification and restoration projects to restore Peshawar’s historical and cultural beauty. Along Peshawar Ring Road, these rehabilitation and beautification efforts include the creation of the city’s largest amusement park.

Kamran Bangash, the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister (SACM), provided the information Tuesday when addressing the province assembly legislators. The following describes the projects that are anticipated to be accomplished using the proposed funds:
• Construction of the largest entertainment park in the province, spanning 240 kanals along Peshawar Ring Road
• PKR 5 billion will be spent on relocating the Chugalpura bus station in an effort to alleviate the city’s traffic problems. • Two state-of-the-art international standard sports complexes, Hayatabad Sports Complex and Arbab Niaz Stadium, will be developed. • The Small Industrial Zone will be established in the Zangalai area.
• Construction of the southern segment of the Peshawar Ring Road in the current year

In addition to the development-related projects, the special assistant stated that the government will seize and rehabilitate the Raj Kapoor and Dalip Kumar homes due to their historical significance.
