PHA, Bank of Khyber Sign MoU on Housing Finance
Bank of Khyber (BoK) and Provincial Housing Authority (PHA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand the “Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar” housing credit programme to tenants of PHA flats in Jalozai, Nowshera, according to news reports.

Under the programme, citizens would receive a PKR 0.3 million subsidy for apartments.
The MOU was signed by BoK Managing Director (MD) Ihsan Ullah Ihsan and PHA Director-General Nadir Khan Rana. Provincial Minister of Housing Dr. Amjad Ali, Secretary of Housing Syed Muhammad Ali Shah, and Head of Banking and Consumer Finance Aif Naseem attended the ceremony.

According to the reports, this programme will enable residents to obtain a PKR 1.95 million loan with a 10% down payment. In addition, the bank will provide financing with a low markup of 3% for the first five years, 5% for the second five years, and 2.5% plus Kibore for the final ten years.
