PIA Operates Six Flights for Skardu to Promote Tourism
In one of their largest operations for the country’s northern regions, PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) has decided to run 6 flights for Skardu, according to a Saturday News report.

The information provided indicated that today, when the PIA operated six flights for Skardu, it conducted one of its largest operations in the northern region, with two flights operating simultaneously from Karachi and one each from Lahore, Sialkot, and Faisalabad.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) granted a licence to a newly established private airline on July 12 in accordance with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s plan to promote tourism and regional connectivity in the area.

According to the information provided, the PCAA has approved the issuance of a Tourism Promotion and Regional Integration (TPRI) licence to the nation’s private airline, Alvir Airways (Pvt) Ltd, for a duration of 5 years under National Aviation Policy 2019.
