PIA Resumes Flights to Kuwait After Five-Month Hiatus
After Kuwait lifted travel restrictions imposed in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) restarted its flight operations to and from Kuwait.

Chief Executive Officer of PIA Arshad Malik commended the Minister for Aviation, the secretary of aviation, and the management of the Aviation Division for their contributions to the resumption of operations.
In addition, he appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Pakistani envoy to Kuwait, and the Kuwaiti ambassador to Pakistan, who provided all possible help in this respect.
In a tweet, the CEO assured that the PIA would continue to serve Pakistani nationals and valuable travellers with utmost professionalism.

After a decade of suspensions for people from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, and Afghanistan in 2011, Kuwait began issuing business and family visas to Pakistani nationals in March, citing “challenging security situations” in the five nations.
