Piling Work for 7th Avenue Interchange Project Gets Underway
The National Logistics Cell (NLC), hired by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to construct the 7th Avenue Interchange, has begun preparation of piles at the construction site.

Amer Ali Ahmed, chairman of the CDA, stated that the contractor had begun work and was preparing test pile cages.
Last month, Prime Minister Imran Khan laid the cornerstone for the 7th Avenue Interchange and two additional projects: the reconstruction and expansion of I.J.P. Road and the construction of the Sihala flyover.
According to CDA representatives, the interchange will be constructed at Aabpara at 7th Avenue, Srinagar Highway, Khayaban-i-Soharwardi, and Garden Avenue.

The NLC was awarded the contract because their bid was lower than that of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO). The FWO’s offer was approximately Rs 1.6 billion.
On the other hand, drivers have encountered traffic congestion and lengthy signal times at the intersection. On a daily basis, especially during office and school hours, there were lengthy lines of automobiles.
