Govt Inaugurate Four Mega Projects in December in Rawalpindi
According to our reporters, the administration in Rawalpindi is getting ready for the grand opening of four megaprojects in December 2021.
Four projects will be started, and three of them will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar will dedicate the final one.
On December 25, 2021, it is anticipated that the PM will dedicate the three projects. These will include building the 38-kilometer Rawalpindi Ring Road and the 17-kilometer Nullah Leh Expressway project (RRR). These two projects are expected to cost Rs. 130 billion.
Additionally, a 20-kilometer subterranean sewage network will be inaugurated. Asian Development Bank provided funding for this project (ADB).

Mr. Usman Buzdar, the CM of Punjab, will open the 123-kilometer-long tourism route. This project will cost a total of Rs. 4.25 billion. The nicest aspect of these road upgrades is that they have given Rawalpindi more than 300,000 new jobs.
This project includes 8 bridges and 5 underpasses. The government has designed models that include multi-story buildings. The road improvements will be used for both regular traffic and business purposes. As a result, the district administration of Rawalpindi will generate more income. Syed Gulzar Hussain, Commissioner of Rawalpindi, has directed that all opening preparations be finished by December 15, 2021.
