PM Breaks Ground for Rehabilitation of Jhal Jaho Bela Road
According to news reports, Prime Minister Imran Khan laid the cornerstone for reconstructing and upgrading the 80-kilometer Jhal Jaho Bela Road in Islamabad.

The 80-kilometer road is located in the Awaran district of Balochistan and is being constructed by the National Highway Authority (NHA) at the cost of 11 billion Pakistani rupees (PKR). The completion date for the two-lane road project was revealed to be three years.
According to the ministry of communication, the restoration of Jhal Jaho Bela Road will improve agriculture, tourism and culture, trade, and industrial activity in the province and allow Baloch citizens’ movement to other regions. It was also stated that this project would generate 3,000 local employment opportunities.

Jhal Jaho Bela Road is one of the most significant highways regarding future trade opportunities with Afghanistan, Iran, and the Central Asian States. Upon completion, the project will enhance socioeconomic development in the region.
