PM Introduces Rehmatul-Lil Alameen Scholarship Program
The launch of the Rehmatul-Lil Alameen scholarship programme for intermediate and undergraduate students was announced by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad.

At the event, the prime minister declared that all Pakistanis, including non-Muslims, would be eligible for the scholarship.
According to the Prime Minister, the federal government will grant 70,000 scholarships annually for a total of five billion rupees. He added that 350,000 scholarships would be awarded as part of the scholarship programme over the course of five years for a total cost of Rs. 28 billion.
According to the Prime Minister, the provincial governments of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also provide scholarships to the students. Imran Khan underlined his commitment to turning Pakistan into a great country based on the principles of the State of Madina’s emphasis on education and the rule of law.

Without education, he asserted, no nation can grow. In order for our youth to gain from Hazrat Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wa Salam Khatim-un-Nabiyeen, he added, the current administration is focusing its efforts in the education sector.
