PM Launches UNDP-Sponsored Digital Media Programme
According to news reports, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the “Digital Media Programme” in Islamabad.

During the inaugural event, the prime minister stated that the world’s digital media sector is advancing, and he expressed his delight at the introduction of the Digital Media Development Programme for Pakistani youth.
According to reports, this programme involves the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The initiative will focus on the growth and development of Pakistan’s digital media ecosystem.

Regarding UNDP’s assistance for this project, UNDP Resident Representative Knut Ostby noted that UNDP is glad to support the government’s efforts to equip youth with necessary skills and provide them with on-the-job training in government offices, which would boost their career possibilities.
