Prequalification Bids Invited for Burki Road Dualisation
Lahore: According to news reports, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has begun prequalifying contractors for the dualisation of Burki Road and the rehabilitation of roadways on both sides of the Babu Sabu Interchange.
The government has requested proposals by September 2 for road maintenance around the Babu Sabu Interchange.

Similarly, by September 3, pre-qualification proposals for the project to reroute Burki Road from Lahore School of Economics (LSE) to BRB are due.
LDA has also requested that qualified companies submit prequalification bids by September 4 for the repair of roads in New Islamia Park, Royal Park, Ranjha Road, Faisal Road, and Himayat-e-Islamia Road.

In addition, the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has asked PKR 1 billion from the department of revenue for the construction of new parks and maintenance of existing parks.
In contrast, the revenue department has allocated PKR 500 million to PHA, and the cabinet has been issued a report for final approval of money.
