Provision of Basic Facilities Ordered in Bajaur
Malakand division commissioner Syed Zaheerul Islam issued a directive to Bajaur district administration authorities to expeditiously provide basic amenities to minority populations, such as the construction of a church and a community centre.

During his visit to the district, he expressed regret to a delegation of minority community leaders for the lack of a church, cemetery, and other basic amenities for the Christian community in Bajaur.
Various minority community elders, the deputy commissioner Mohammad Fayyaz Khan, and other officials attended the event.
The representatives of predominantly Christian minority communities notified the commissioner that several hundred families of predominantly Christian minority communities lived in the region, but were denied of basic services.

On this occasion, Zaheerul Islam informed the leaders of minority communities that these amenities would be provided to them first. Additionally, the commissioner inaugurated the newly-established Bank of Khyber branch at Inayat Kallay Bazaar.
