PSEB and USS Sign MoU to Launch Software Park in Quetta
Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and UltraSoft System (USS) inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to develop a software technology park in Quetta.
The ultra-soft technology park will be constructed near Quetta International Airport and would occupy an area of 3,100 square feet.

In addition, the Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Syed Amin-ul-Haque, claimed that Quetta is the largest city in Balochistan and the hub for social, cultural, and economic developments in Balochistan.
He added that the state was giving the IT industry top priority in order to boost Pakistan’s economy, provide employment opportunities, and improve the overall quality of life.
He stated that there were several ideas meant to encourage and sustain the IT industry’s growth trajectory, as well as ensure continued regional and export profit growth. Syed Ameel-ul-Haque said that Pakistan’s information and communication technology industry’s export revenues were outstanding.

The Minister added that it was critical to ensure women’s participation in the IT division since they might play a crucial role in the export of IT products.
Osman Nasir, the Managing Director of Pakistan Software Export Board, revealed that in accordance with the IT Minister’s directives, PSEB had constructed an industry facilitation centre in Quetta in order to provide utmost help to the IT companies located there.
