PSQCA to Launch Automated System to Standardize the Process
Shibli Faraz, the federal minister for science and technology, has instructed Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) to complete the automated system as soon as possible in order to assure the affordable availability of quality products to the populace.

During a visit to PSQCA, while presiding over a meeting, the Federal Minister remarked that a regulatory framework and relevant rules and regulations on the standardisation of consumer goods were in place, but system flaws and ineffective implementation allowed substandard and low-quality products to flood the local market.
The minister stated that the current standardisation process was slow, difficult, and involved human interaction at multiple stages.
In addition, he stated that the PSQCA was working to build a strategy for maintaining the quality and safety of vehicles made or assembled in Pakistan, as well as for ensuring that the necessary requirements are satisfied.

In response to a question about the state of development in Sindh, the Federal Minister stated that the PPP-led Sindh government had received billions of rupees during its 13-year rule, but the people of Sindh lacked even the most basic amenities, such as potable water, education, and healthcare.
Shibli stated that the PTI government’s allocation of record funding to Sindh demonstrated Imran Khan’s dedication to the province’s development.
