PTA Bans Illegal Housing Schemes from Advertising on Social Media
New Announcement for The Advertisement of Housing Schemes
ISLAMABAD, May 18, 2022-. With the announcement of the new ban on advertising illegal housing schemes, it has become crucial for all real estate agencies to conduct a research before advertising any housing project on their social media platforms.
An order was issued by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to forbid any illegal housing societies from placing adverts on social media without a prior NOC from the Lahore Development Authority (LDA). The housing societies will only be allowed to advertise with a valid NOC backed by an authorized representative of LDA. The LHC’s March 30th judgment orders the LDA to take action against all illegal housing societies that defraud citizens of their money.
