Punjab Closes Schools Across Province for the Whole Week
Due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, the government of Punjab has decided to close all schools in the state on September 6.
Dr. Murad Raas, the provincial education minister, made the announcement on his official Twitter account.
According to the most recent data from the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), Pakistan reported 3,787 new infections in the last twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of reported cases to 1,171,578. The percentage of positive is 6.33 percent.

Punjab had 1,368 cases, followed by Sindh with 1,228 cases. 667 cases were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 47 in Balochistan, 332 in Islamabad, 104 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and 41 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
